A day at the Zoo

Michael and I took the kids, met up with Pap and headed for the Pittsburgh Zoo. I wasn't prepared for the large crowd. Oliver rode in his stroller and we rented a wagon for Brady to ride in. Pap was a trooper when it came to walking around the zoo. Oliver wasn't feeling 100%. I thought it was just his 2 year molars coming in, but his fever spiked by the end of the day. The baby elephants were absolutely adorable and the orangutans were very entertaining. The polar bear was lying on his back and flipping a ball in the air with his paws. I, of course, got no pictures of any of it. The place was just too crowded to stop at times and take pictures. I have zero patience when it comes to waiting in line. We didn't get to spend the time at the different animals like I wanted. I will recommend that if you go, you take your own bottled water! Other wise you will pay $2.50 a bottle at the zoo. I managed to get a few pictures of the day:

School starts next week. I have already started back to PTA duties. Ugh. I was really enjoying the summer. My little girl is growing up too fast. I still can't quite believe that she will start the second grade next week!

Wow, I have never see you look happier. Motherhood looks good on you girl. Jackson just started his first year of preschool last week.
