I am just busy with preparations for Teacher Appreciation! This is seriously another crazy week. And then next week is the actual appreciation week. I will be back!

Wrapping it up!
Student appreciation week is wrapping up today! Phew! I have a screaming headache and am so tired. This has been a crazy busy week. I know that when I look back when Brady is older I will be really glad I did all the work. I haven't had much time to do any blogging. Just enough time to come home and feed my Scrabulous addiction. *I know, I know, I am sooo cool*
On top of all the work I have done this week for the PTA, I had to deal with another health issue with Oliver. Oliver is having breathing issues. He is too young to definitively say that it is asthma or allergies. His doctor also said that he may outgrow this. (In my heart, I know he will) Meanwhile, he now has a nebeulizer(sp?) and is supposed to get a breathing treatment every four hours. That has been really tough as he usually never sits still for more than two minutes. Keep my baby boy in your prayers and hope that this is just a temporary obstacle!
With such a busy life you know I have a few pics to share:

Going crazy!
This is turning out to be one busy, busy week! I am trying to prepare for Student Appreciation week at Brady's school next week. My friend who usually is in charge is battling colon cancer and is focusing on her health right now. (Although she has been incredible about sending me in the right direction) So Tiffany and I are now chairing the committee for the Student and the Teacher Apprecitation. My head is swimming with details and what needs to be completed when. After next week we have to focus on Teacher appreciation.
I will be crazy for about three more weeks. On top of PTA we are getting ready for a yard sale. Did I mention I have two kids and one of them is a toddler who is crazy and likes to climb? Calgon? Calgon? Take me away?
After things settle I am going to take some "me" time and hang with a few buddies. I think I deserve it.
Just a few pictures in case you've been missing my babies:

The Proof
I know anyone who isn't around on a daily basis probably doesn't believe me when I say Oliver is a wild child. He loves to climb. He is silent and he is FAST! He is my sweet baby boy. He is what he is. I wouldn't have him any other way. I did manage to get some proof and thought I would share.
(he knows there are Hershey's kisses from Easter in the bowl, so he sneaks and gets them!)

Beautiful Spring
Wow. Finally! Spring is really here. We had the most fabulous weather yesterday. I started the day with a 4 mile walk. I did attempt to run some of it. That was humiliating, I'll have to work on that. I just love early spring. Some of the trees had started to bud. The temp was perfect for a walk. Just cool enough to be refreshing.
I love the warm sunshine. It is and always will be one of my favorites of the "simple pleasures." Rounding out the top three are line dried sheets and the smell of fresh cut grass. Don't these pictures make you think of spring?
Oliver and I enjoyed most of the afternoon in the backyard. He is so busy! He has to be constantly watched. Today's weather looks as promising as yesterday's did. Oliver and I are headed for the park and then Brady has soccer tonight. I am going to try to get pictures of Brady and all her friends playing together. Here are some of my favorites from yesterday :
I think this one looks sooo much like Michael!
Don't be alarmed by the bruises. As soon as one goes away, he hits his head and gets another one. I think it is the age. I remember Brady had many, many bruises at the same age. I love the last picture. That is his, "I am really thinking and into what I am doing face." He kinda jabbers to himself and sometimes wiggles his shoulders and dances.

A little more bragging and an update
I had to start with a little more bragging. Brady got straight A's on her report card. Her teacher commented that she has developed some very diligent work habits. Super! Michael's brother Tom and his family came for a visit and stayed with us Friday night. We went out to eat at a restaurant right over the hill from us. I thought the place seemed unusually "uptight." I think what really stood out were the linen table cloths and napkins where there are usually paper place mats and rolled silver. We soon found out why when the Governor strolled through for a private party upstairs. We probably should have gone up and asked about the whole "Open for Business" slogan. Yuck. Anyway, the coolest thing about having company is that you end up doing things you don't normally do. The girls wanted to walk home from dinner. So we did. Brady and I would probably never walked home. (the last 2/3 of the walk is straight uphill) But from now on, we just might! So I had to swipe a few more pictures from Steph's facebook page to brag on Taylor. Taylor the soccer star! She scored two goals in her first two games of the season. Why is this so impressive? She plays defense! She also tried out for and made the track team.

Taylor and Jenna also both got straight A's. What are we gonna do with all these smart girls? Those girls were a big help to me. Oliver absolutely LOVED them. If Jenna sat on the floor, Oliver sat on her lap. He would just go over and sit beside one of them and snuggle up. It was amazing and he doesn't do that with anyone. The only other person he shows that kind of affection to (outside of this house) is Dylan. We had a great visit even if Michael and Tom stayed out a little late. ( I HAD to the throw that in there)
Oliver has had a cough for a few weeks now. At one point we thought it was going to clear up and then it seemed to all of a sudden get worse. So the doctor called in a prescription for us on Friday morning. Well yesterday I felt like he was kinda wheezing and seemed like maybe he was a little short of breath. It made me really nervous to see his chest pumping up and down. So off we went to the ER. Wheeling Hospital is awesome about getting you right in to be seen. Oliver got a breathing treatment and a chest x-ray. Turns out he has viral pneumonia. Ugh. Can't this kid get a break????
My official "busy" season has begun. Soccer has started up and I am in full swing PTA activities preparing for Student and teacher appreciation weeks.
I am going to try and hit the gym with Heather today although my sleep for the last two nights has been very little. (a nap is a must)
