I don't even have a title for this post. Everything here has been as usual. The weather will get halfway nice and then it will rain for days. I can't wait for really nice weather. We have so many plans for the outside of the house and I am rarin' to go! Some of our plans include a new fence around the backyard. (to keep the escape artist in). A deck around the back and side of the house. (this is for us as much as that "someday" when we get to sell and move to a bigger house!) We need to get rid of the bush in front of the house. It is an eyesore. And then we need to landscape what is left. I can kind of picture what I want in my head, but I don't know too much about landscaping. Fortunately I bought a book and I hope that helps. Our neighbors across the street always hire landscapers and I think they feel sorry for me because last year the one guy came over and gave me some advice and showed me how to use a tool. (I must remember to wear my short-shorts this year!)
Oliver is still my "spirited toddler." He is full of energy. If you happen to stop by the house sometime and I look like I don't know whether to laugh, scream or cry, this may be the reason:

(in case you didn't know, aluminum foil does NOT roll back up neatly and fit into the container)

(guess who got into the Easter basket while I was trying to re-roll the foil. funny-he just bites through he foil of the kisses until he hits chocolate and then spits out the foil)

(self-feeding is going well. Did you know yogurt works as a great mousse? Oliver has had a "fauhawk" all morning)

Michael calls Oliver Masterblaster. from Wikipedia: by the smart, diminutive Master, who is harnessed to his enormously strong, but dim-witted bodyguard known as Blaster : So basically, Blaster had the mind of a child and he carried around Master who told him what to do, etc. something like this:

So Michael is obviously Blaster to Oliver's Master. As soon as he picks him up Oliver starts pointing that chubby little finger and saying, "eh. eh." And Michael obliges and carries him everywhere the master wants to go.

I will leave you with a video of the crazy spirit of our son. He truly makes me laugh everyday. *disclaimer* Michael and I are not careless parents. So when you see Oliver tumble off the sofa, be assured he was not hurt and we were right there. I learned with Brady that you shouldn't gasp and run to them when they fall or they will forever need a band aid for ALL boo boos.
