A late July 4th update

I thought I had better post as i am pushing a month without anything. It is just too hard to motivate myself to blog in the summer!
We had a great fourth of July weekend. We went to our friend's annual party. he has it every year and the neighborhood even has a small parade that the kids can ride their bikes in. The parade ends at the neighborhood playground where they have a cookout and games w/prizes for the kids. We usually never eat at the cookout as our friend makes some killer ribs! The fireworks got rained out that night, but we went to Chris and Robin's to watch them on Saturday night. Perfect setting. The little kids could play until it was time and I didn't have to chase Oliver around the waterfront in downtown Wheeling! On Sunday, Pap and Noreen came down. We had such a good time that night. We hung out on the patio ( a little too late) after the kids went to bed and then by Tuesday we were back to life as we know it. Here are a few pictures from the 4th:
