Happy Halloween!

Oliver is officially walking. And he is very good. He has also recently discovered balloons. So now he will toddle around the house with the ballon string in his hand and don't you dare try to take it away. He is very good at letting you know when he is unhappy. His 1st birthday is quickly approaching! Only two more weeks. He is a handful, but so much fun. We are having a gathering for his birthday and for people to watch the Steeler's game. I hope I can find my camera by then. And maybe I will have my computer fixed so that I can actually post them! I know I need to get the computer fixed but I am so stinking busy! Brady's Halloween party is at the school today. We are also serving the kids ice cream sundaes in the lunch room. I will get to the school at 10:45 and leave at dismissal. We then have a Halloween Party and then trick or treating. Yikes! And of all days Oliver decides to get up at 6:30am!
I had a conference with Brady's teacher last week. She had all glowing things to say about Brady and gave me some very useful information on how to encourage her without creating a kid who has to be a perfectionist. Brady and I went on a hike a couple of weekends ago. The leaves were beautiful and we took a few pictures, but I cannot load them onto Michael's computer. I just love having special Brady and Mommy time. My babies are the best things that have ever happened to me. I was lying in bed and had both of them on my chest. And I thought, "this is love in its purest form. Love without reserve. Raw, unconditional love." Sappy, I know. But so true.
Have a Happy Halloween!!!!

Still no computer

My computer is still down and the apathy on my part isn't getting it fixed any sooner. I get more done during the day when I don't have the computer around. We have a had a lot going on. Soccer just ended for the fall. We had a losing season but the kids really learned to play together even if we didn't get a lot of goals. I have so many cute pictures of Oliver that I want to share but those will have to wait. I took some really cute ones of him in the grass at our friend's farm party.
Jacinta is in with her parents from Australia. She stopped over for a visit this evening. She and Ken are headed out for the next week with her parents to tour the beautiful state of WV.
Michael is having the annual Cricktoberfest this weekend. There should be some new faces and I am looking forward to hanging out with some friends I haven't seen for a while. It will be the first night I have ever spent away from Oliver. It makes me a little nervous but I know he will be in good hands and he goes to bed pretty early anyway. If all goes as plans the kids and I will journey to see Zoe on Saturday morning. I can't wait to snuggle that baby girl!
Michael and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary on Sunday. Well we actually celebrated on Thursday night with a trip to Cheddar's for dinner where we happened to run into some friends we haven't seen in a long time. So we snagged a table in the bar and had dinner together. We really enjoyed ourselves. Imagine, going out to dinner with other adults. Drinks + friends + real conversations = FUN! I would really like to try to do that at least every other week. So if you are interested in joining us send me an email and let's do it. Michelle, if ya happen to check in here and you and Mark would like to get together again, send me a note of when a good time would be for you!
I could update on so much more but I am tired and must go to bed! I'll try to get my computer fixed soon and post some pictures!
